Importing bank and card transactions
Upload CSV, OFX or QFX exports from Mercury, Brex, Chase, Wise and most other banks.
Where bank connections are available, you'll see Connect a bank or card in Transactions: it brings in transactions every day, read-only. For any bank that doesn't connect, or if you prefer, download an export from your bank or card and add it in Transactions.
Which file to download
- OFX or QFX (sometimes called Quicken or Money format) is best: it carries a unique id per transaction.
- CSV works too. You'll pick which columns hold the date, description and amount, and we show a preview first.
- Card exports often show purchases as positive numbers. Tick 'Flip signs' if money out shows as positive.
Duplicates
You can import overlapping date ranges safely. Transactions already in Durity are skipped, and two genuinely identical payments on the same day are both kept.
Limits
Files can be up to 5 MB and 20,000 rows. Split larger exports by date.
