This website (durity.com)
Sets no cookies. It counts visits without cookies: a visit is recorded with the page, the referring website and campaign tags, and a visitor code made from your browser type, the first part of your network address (the first two of its four numbers, which does not identify you) and today's date, so the code changes every day. Your IP address itself is not stored. Your browser remembers that you closed the cookie notice (local storage, no cookie).
The Durity app (app.durity.com)
Uses only cookies needed for it to work. No advertising or tracking cookies.
- Sign-in session, and whether you chose "Keep me signed in for 30 days".
- The page you asked for before signing in, so you return to it.
- The plan you picked on the website (one day), and a referral code if you arrived through a friend's link (30 days).
- Which company you last viewed, if you belong to more than one.
- Your unfinished owner list during set-up, so a reload does not lose it.
- A one-time code while you connect a bank, sales, payroll or accounting account, to check the answer comes back to you.
- When you were last active, for Durity staff only: staff areas sign out after 30 minutes without activity.
