Form 5472 for foreign-owned companies

Who files it, what goes on it, and what Durity does.

A U.S. corporation that is 25% or more foreign-owned, and a single-member LLC owned by a foreign person, generally file Form 5472 to report transactions with the foreign owner and other related parties. A foreign-owned single-member LLC files it with a pro forma Form 1120.

Durity flags possible owner transactions as they come in, asks you what each one was, and prepares a worksheet for the preparer grouped by type. The preparer checks every line before filing.
